Vision -
The "Free" worlds dependence on middle eastern oil is a threat to the world as we know it. Most of the worlds imports are from the most unfriendly and unstable regions in the world. Failing to rein in our dependence on imported oil gives leverage to undemocratic and unstable regimes.
Wasteful consumption of fuels creates political liabilities overseas, air polution at home and global warming. The rate at which the free world burns fuel has made us a leading contributor to global warming.
If we want true security we must reduce our consumption of fuel. There is no other way. Other issues may crowd the headlines but this is our challenge.
Big challenges require bold action and leadership. At HFG we are taking leadership and action. Weaning ourselves of daily consumption of fuels should be the most patriotic policy to which each and everyone of us in the free world can commit ourselves!
Naval Special Warfare Foundation - As a former U.S. Navy SEAL I have personally seen the loss of life and close friends fighting muslim extremism. I have personally lost one of my best friends and LPO of my BUD/S class and have seen others have to deal with prosthetics from gunshot wounds fighting those that we fund through our daily consumption of fuel. We are committed to doing our part as small or large as it can be.
